On October 29, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Suraphat Asawavirulhakarn, Deputy Director of Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital, presided over the opening ceremony of World Stroke Day 2024.The event was held at the front hall of the outpatient clinic, Internal Medicine Department, 3rd floor, Zone C, Ramathibodi Chakri Naruebodindra Hospital.Activities at the event included:
- Providing information on stroke and raising awareness about the dangers of stroke
- Screening for various health risks
- Exercise demonstrations
- Health food booths for hospital staff and the general public
